We strive to breed our dogs with excellent temperaments and to the AKC standards of the Labrador Retriever. We are located in the quiet corner of Connecticut in the small town of Woodstock.
The Labrador, Labrador Retriever or simply Lab, was developed in the United Kingdom from fishing dogs which were imported from Newfoundland in Canada, and was named after the Labrador region.
Labradors are a very popular popular dog breed in the United States. They are very even tempered, friendly, and are considered a medium to large working dog breed. Labs make a wonderful, playful family pet.
Labs are very intelligent and have a gentle nature. They love the water and their webbed toes help them to swim.
